Guided Walk: Treacle Bolly and the Margins of the River Kennet

As part of Marlborough History Society’s new outreach project, Nick Baxter will be leading a guided walk, “Treacle Bolly and the Margins of the River Kennet” at 11.00 am on Wednesday 20th August.
The walk is open to everyone, and families are warmly welcome. The cost is £5.00 per person including MHS members and £5.00 per family – if you wish to join the walk as a family. The walk is suitable for children aged 8 or above and they must be accompanied by an adult.
No dogs please.
The walk is approximately 1.75 miles long and 2 hours in duration. It is of a gentle pace involving generally flat terrain. There are possible muddy stretches and stone and gravel paths. Approximately half of the walk is on pavements and metalled surfaces.

Bookings will be made on a first come first served basis.
Please bring £5.00 cash on the day.
