TOPIC: Lumps, bumps and an Ancient Woodland – the archaeology of Perivale Wood in Greater London. Located in a heavily built up and industrialised landscape, Perivale Wood, owned and managed by The Selbourne Society, is one of Britain’s oldest nature reserves which was established in 1905. This presentation focuses on the archaeology and history of the wood, and the excavations which have taken place.
